Unique eco-friendly practices stand out as commendable.
The bathroom light was bothersome due to its sensor operation, making nights disruptive. Additionally, the pillows were uncomfortably smelly and not changed throughout my stay, which was quite disappointing. Lastly, while the location was decent, I struggled with parking, which comes at an unreasonable charge for guests.

The Sweet Room was beautifully designed with great attention to detail. I loved the free refilling glass bottle for water and the well-stocked dining area with snacks and beverages available at all hours. The atmosphere felt cozy, making it a comfortable place to unwind. Location served me well for exploring the city and catching trains. However, the train noise from my room was quite noticeable, especially if you're sensitive to sound. Housekeeping was inconsistent. my towels weren’t replaced despite following instructions. Overall, a lovely place with some areas needing attention.

Staying here with my friends was a great experience! We felt the warmth and family vibe of this recently refurbished hotel. The staff treated us like family and made our trip feel special. We enjoyed easy access to nearby hiking trails and biking adventures. Just a short walk took us to the train station, making it easy to explore Belgium. I'd highly recommend this cozy spot for your next getaway!
One downside was the limited dining options nearby. It's about a 20-minute walk to reach restaurants, which can be a hassle if you're hungry after a long day of exploring.
